Senior (L3) System Administrator

Job Description

Our perfect match will be part of a growing team supporting Windows and *NIX systems, located on-prem and in the AWS cloud. They would be responsible for:

  • solving complex issues, often involving working across realms and applications – Windows, *NIX, databases, web-servers, cloud infrastructures;
  • planning, testing and deploying automation procedures for repetitive tasks using powershell/bash/python/puppet

Key technical skills

System administration, building and operating web solutions infrastructure, focus on automation and/or CI/CD, cross-realm troubleshooting, AWS.

Key personal skills

Strive for innovation, excellent cross-realm (users/management/TLs) communications skills.

You would be our perfect match if you have 4+ years of experience in system administration and you consider yourself as an expert in at least 3 of these subjects:

  • managing Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 in a domain environment
  • managing Microsoft Active Directory
  • designing & managing highly available web solutions 
  • virtualization technologies (Hyper-V / VMware.Xen).
  • Office365/Exchange/SfB/Sharepoint
  • configuring and troubleshooting hybrid networks
  • relational database engines – MSSQL/MySQL
  • managing different Linux flavors – Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL/AWS Linux. 

Any of the following will be considered a strong advantage:

  • scripting skills
  • VDI expertise
  • experience with Infrastructure as a code and Compliance as a code
  • experience with CI/CD various DevOps tools – Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
  • experience with Designing & Implementing solutions based on AWS services.
  • AWS / Microsoft certification
